Found photos are the best. No matter if I come across them in second hand shops, garage sales, or in the wild on the street, I’m compelled to collect them and reconstruct who these people were, what kind of lives they lived. Sometimes I’ll make art pieces out of them to bring them back to life.

I find myself doing the same when I’m generating images – finding these snapshots of people who never were in places that are fun house reflections of our own reality. And I can’t help but pick them up.
